B i o g r a p h y

Mi Jang earned a Bachelor’s degree in Violin Performance from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in Violin Performance from Southern Methodist University. She was accepted into the Doctor of Musical Arts program in Violin Performance at the University of North Texas, where she studied for three years.

With many years of teaching experience, Mi has worked with students ranging from beginners to advanced levels. Under her guidance, numerous students have excelled in school orchestras, all-region, and all-state competitions. Some of her students have gone on to perform in university programs with music scholarships. Mi is passionate about helping her students achieve their goals and grow as musicians.

In addition to teaching, Mi actively contributes to her community as a violinist. Most recently, she performed as a member of the World Doctors Orchestra in Arizona in April 2024.
